FIRM is a founding member of the World Engine Remanufacturing Council (WERC) and is a member of the AFCAR Alliance and participates to the Right to Repair Campaign Alliance in Europe (R2RC).

The engineering office IMT offers three key activities for the Automotive Aftermarket:
Supsan , a subsidiary of one of the largest group’s, Borusan Holding’s company, started production on 3rd of September 1970 under the license of Eaton SRL.
Supsan produces, sells and distributes valves, guides and valve cotters for all internal combustion engines. The company also distributes inserts, gasket set, camshaft, valve lifter,engine bearings,cylinder heads through aftermarket distributors.
In Turkey valve requirements of Ford Otosan, Oyak Renault, Tofaş, Türk Tractor, Iveco, Anadolu Isuzu, Başak Tractor, Karsan, Otokar, Daf Tırsan, Yavuz Mühendislik, and Temsa are supplied by Supsan.
Among export customers Ferrari, Aston Martin,Bentley, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Fiat, JCB, Ford, Iveco, Daf, Volvo, Renault, Dacia, Nissan, Peugoet, Volvo Penta, Isotta Fraschini, VM Motori, Detroit Diesel, GM, Chrysler, John Deere may be listed.
Supsan is certified by TÜV CERT which is an international certification institution, for its quality management system of ISO / TS 16949.
In the aftermarket Supsan’s distributors could able to reach the original quality with Supsan’s more than 1000 references.

APRA (Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association) is a global association with more than 2,000 member companies. These companies earn revenues of approx. 25 billion euros.
The Association’s objective is to promote the general business interests of the remanufacturing industry and foster the spirit of recycling for a better environment. It also provides members with forums, exhibitions and workshops to interact and consult with each other on issues affecting the entire industry.
World Engine Remanufacturing Council (WERC)
Engine remanufacturers play an important role in the long-term reduction of emission levels on a worldwide scale. To continue in this direction, FIRM and the engine remanufacturing associations in New Zealand, Australia, North America and South Africa have established a new organisation, the World Engine Remanufacturing Council (WERC).
Alliance for the Freedom of Car Repair (AFCAR)
Gathering 6 major associations of the automotive aftermarket, AFCAR aims at raising awareness of European policy makers on the need to ensure open reparability of motor vehicles notably through full access to vehicle manufacturers’ repair and maintenance information.
Right to Repair Campaign (R2RC)
FIRM is a member of the Right to Repair Campaign in Europe. With view to maintain a level playing field in the automotive repair market, the R2RC advocates for access to technical information, parts, tools and training needed to ensure the quality repairs motorist consumers deserve.
FIRM is a cooperation partner of RAI Amsterdam for the organisation of the ReMATec fair, the International Trade Fair for Remanufacturing (Automotive, Agriculture, Marine, Heavy Duty) in Europe.
To implement its mission statement, FIRM has opened an office at the heart of the European Institutions in Brussels. The Brussels’ office provides representation to the FIRM members within the European Institutions. The work of the bureau, guided by the Board of Directors, consists of monitoring and participating to the work of the institutions, maintaining relations with staff in the institutions, and ensuring that our message is heard in Brussels and Strasbourg.
